Back Packing Adventure 1
Test your newly acquired backpacking skills by taking a short overnight at Halpatiokee Regional Park. We will meet in Stuart at Halpatiokee at 2 pm, hike to an overnight spot, set up camp, cook dinner, campfire (if allowed), make breakfast, break camp, and hike out.

Playwriting
Grade Level: C
Try your hand at playwriting! Join us as we delve into the basics of storytelling fit for the stage. Learn about antagonists, protagonists and the driving engine that moves a plot. Then gather in groups and open your minds as your brainstorm, collaborate, deliver and have fun!
This program will focus on the sewing part of the “Stitch It Together” Try it. Girls will be able to complete most of the try-it in one afternoon by covering the following badge requirements: “Button Collage”, “Sew What” and Patch it all together”.
Girls will complete the following badge requirements: “Pick a Pattern”, “A Perfect Fit”, “Find the Fabric”, “Sew on Buttons” and “Sew a Purse”.

Combining circus skills, mime, original music, and audience involvement, Garry and his audience investigate basic scientific information and delve into the imaginations of scientists who explore our world.
Girl scouts of all ages can spend an enjoyable afternoon at Miami Seaquarium learning about aquatic animals and their habitats while completing a corresponding Girl Scout insignia.

Girl Scouts Rock! Come join us at ROCKSTAR Recording Studios for the coolest workshop ever! Record a CD with your friends, singing in a real recording studio! With this interest project you will learn to identify the sources of your stress, the difference between healthy and unhealthy stress, what is does to you and what it can do for you. Learn skills to manage your stress and make it work for you.
