Gather your girls and travel through the history of the organization and learn fun facts, view historical pieces from our archival collection, and participate in a variety of traditional Girl Scout activities at some locations. Experience the camaraderie of Girl Scouting at these interactive, educational displays designed and maintained by Council volunteers from NOW through April 30, 2012!
Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida's Annual Cookie Sale program starts January 19. Check out all the great family, girl and volunteer resources and activities that are available.
Learn the skills that are needed to be a safe and fun babysitter. The Babysitter’s club will provide each participant with the information and skills necessary to ensure safe and responsible care in the absence of the adults or guardian's.
CAMP PATHWAY: Do you like to climb trees? Do you like to hang upside down? In this adventure, you will first learn how trees affect your environment. You will then take to the air with ropes and saddles and reach new heights with tree climbing.
Do you love to watch birds and butterflies? Come and learn all about birds and butterflies and how to attract them to your own backyard! Hands-on activities will be provided, as well as a bird-walk.
CAMP PATHWAY: Learn about the beauty of gardens, and the care involved in planting, nurturing, and enjoying their benefits.
Love cooking? Join Mrs. B for a morning of unique cooking with heat. The girls will have the opportunity to brighten their life-skills and stir-up their creativity in the kitchen with the focus on different food groups with new recipes.

TROOP PATHWAY: Do you think you know everything about City Place? Come join us on this scavenger hunt adventure. Bring along your camera or phone to begin the journey.

CAMP PATHWAY: View nature through the lens of a camera as our experienced Photographer/Art Teacher instructs them on how to get those beautiful shots! Go on a photo safari along the water front searching for birds, plants, manatees and more.
ADULT VOLUNTEERS: Troop Essentials offers grade-level specific information on how to set-up your troop, from deciding when, where and how often to meet and how to’s on managing troop finances, to working with parents and planning engaging troop activities. We’ll also review National and Council policies and procedures. This class will inform and inspire you in your new role as a Troop Leader. Please note: Troop Essentials is required for new Girl Scout leaders and must be taken within sixty (60
Awaken your inner princess and get some well-deserved relaxation after a long(er) GS Cookie Season! Girls will learn how to use common ingredients like oatmeal, bananas and Vitamin E to make their own facials, and learn to perform manicures and pedicures on themselves and their friends!
Attention all runners! Save the date for February 18, 2012 as Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida hosts the first ever Thin Mint Sprint 5K Race. The event will be at Carlin Park in Jupiter and will also feature a & Tagalong Trot 100 yard dash for kids 8 and under. Awards will be given in 17 categories and the first 300 registrants will be given a race t-shirt.
The Society of Women Engineers in conjunction with the River Center presents The Journey Wonders of Water: Love Water Program. This workshop is open to Brownies and Cadettes (LIA Program). Girl Scouts: Start your Wonders Of Water Journey with a program that fulfills all requirements for the Love Water Patch (Brownies) or the Leader in Action (LIA) Patch (Cadettes).

Come join in the fun, by learning new leadership skills, role playing, and working out different scenarios. You can use these new skills in volunteering for a Council sponsored event, working with troops, and gaining community service hours towards your graduation.
CAMP PATHWAY: Learn the basics of canoeing in the hidden mangrove trails off of the ELC campus in Wabasso Island. Discover the Indian River Lagoon at its best.

Ever wonder how you would get around if you didn't have GPS or those MapQuest directions. Get back to your roots and back to nature. Learn to read maps, use a compass and a new game that makes orienteering fun for the whole family.

TROOP PATHWAY. Do you like to eat? Would you like to learn a few cooking basics? Then this is the adventure for you. During this workshop you will have the opportunity to rotate from station to station and learn cooking skills. You will get to cook a meal and taste it too! This workshop is for girls only. Adults may observe.

Come and ride the range. Join us on an adventure where you will strap a saddle on a horse and actually get to RIDE the horse! You will learn about horse care, safety, grooming, as well as basic riding skills.

Come visit our ranch to learn all about horses! Our workshop covers topics like horse safety, the history of horses, horse breeds, horse anatomy and hands on grooming exercises.
