Have you ever ridden a Dragon? Come see what it is all about. Girls (and adults) are broken into teams and compete against each other by racing in Dragon boats. Some girls will take turns being the drummer- making sure their teams follow the beat of the drum to win and some may be asked to steer the Dragon boat (under supervision). During breaks, water games will be played to cool off. Come join us as we explore the waterway or mangroves and occasionally see dolphins, various birds, and other wildlife.
There will be safety training and a paddle demonstration done before getting into the Dragon boats. No previous knowledge is required. Personal Floatation Devices will be provided and must be worn at all times. It’s a lot of fun and teaches girls, leaders, and parents how to work together as a team.
