Water, water, EVERYWHERE! This super-session is designed for girls who are ready to take on the water in a brand new way, every day! This extreme, fast-paced 12 night awesome adventure is recommended for Girl Scouts with previous resident camp experience and who are ready for the next big thing. Oh, and you better want to get wet too!

This session offers super-cool day trips out of Camp Welaka to find water in all new ways; we will hit the beach, learn to surf, tackle wacky water slides, and learn the sports of water polo, competitive swimming, water volleyball and diving. All campers will have an opportunity to earn their Junior Lifeguard Certificate. Experience water in a high-adventure setting while learning how to canoe and kayak in the lake or on the Loxahatchee River and take a trip to Trapper Nelson’s. Experience the beautiful and unique underworld of creatures that live below the water and sand while learning to snorkel. Try your hand at seining and see the terrific things in the mud and lake floor.

*Girls ages 12 and older may chose to add a 4-day SCUBA class and earn PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Open Water certification provided by SCUBA Works in Jupiter. A swim test, prior to the session, is a pre-requisite. This class is completed on the fourth day with a boat trip out of the Jupiter Inlet for a high-adventure ocean dive. Limit 24 girls.

See water in a brand new light, at night, or when the tides change. Campers can go to be wild and wet all while choosing to earn “Wonders of Water” and “Junior Swim Badge” (Junior) or “Water Sports” IPP (CSA). And we won’t skimp on the camping classics like hiking, outdoor cooking, sing-alongs, games and crafts. Do it all! Dive in for this unique 12-night wonderful water experience and discover even more about the source that keeps this planet alive, water!
