PREPARATION RECOMMENDATIONS:
Plan a program for girls before the trip.
- Allow girls from the traditional troop
pathway to meet girls from Get Real! - Give girls the opportunity to learn why
Get Real! being included in the State’s
budget is so imperative. - Talk about the importance of dressing
for success – a full Girl Scout uniform is
always appropriate at the Capitol,
and professional business attire shows
that you mean business! - Have girls brainstorm about what
current issues affect their lives. They will
get the chance to debate one of
these topics in the Senate chambers!
Location:
Tallahassee, Florida
