2010 – 2011 PRINTABLE ONLINE PROGRAM BROCHURE
The Girl Scout Leadership Development Experience incorporates three “keys” to leadership:
Discover: Girls understand themselves and their values and use their knowledge and skills to explore the world.
Connect: Girls care about, inspire, and team with others locally and globally.
Take Action: Girls act to make the world a better place.
In Girl Scouting, Discover Connect Take Action=Leadership. All Girl Scout experiences are intentionally designed to tie to one or more of the 15 national leadership outcomes, or benefits, categorized under the three keys to leadership.
Girls can participate in Girl Scouting as part of a troop or as an individually registered member. All program activities in our Passport and on our Program and Events are developed for girls of specific age-levels:
D – Daisies (Kindergarten – Grade 1)
B – Brownies (Grades 2-3)
J – Juniors (Grades 4-5)
C – Cadettes (Grades 6-8)
S – Seniors (Grades 9-10)
A – Ambassadors (Grades 11-12)
