Reserving a Camp/Program Site

GSSEF Camp Properties are used throughout the year for day and weekend outdoor programs, Summer Resident camp, Service Unit and troop camping/outdoor events. Troop camping inquiries may be directed to Property Coordinator at 954-739-7660 ext. 1200.

    FOR QUICK REFERENCE:

    TROOP CAMPING RESERVATION INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Troop camping reservations began on August 1, 2010.

    2. Currently registered troops within the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida of may reserve a campsite at any of the (3) council camps (Camp Welaka, Camp Nocatee & Camp Telogia) for anytime in the four (4) month time period following the date the reservation is made.
    (Example: reservations made on August 1 can be for a visit no later than December 1.)

    3. Troop camping inquiries may be directed to Property Coordinator at 954-739-7660 ext. 1200. The desired sites/dates, if available at the time of the phone call, will be held for five (5) business days, pending receipt of the completed “Universal Reservation Form for Council-Owned Camp Properties” and required fees.

    4. If after the five (5) day waiting period the form and payment are not received, the “hold” will be cancelled. The postmark on the envelope will be the determining factor. Reservations may only be made using the “Universal Reservation Form for Council-Owned Camp Properties” form.

    5. Troop Camping Confirmation materials will be sent to the Adult Contact listed on the “Universal Reservation Form for Council-Owned Camp Properties” form. Help us ‘go green’ and include your email address so we can save time, paper and postage!

    6. Sites may be reserved by troops no more than twice in a four (4) month time period.

    7. Site fees will be refunded if the troop cancels the reservation with a minimum of four (4) week notice. If cancellation occurs after the four (4) week deadline, no refund shall be granted.

    8. For rate information, refer to the “Troop Camping Rate” sheet and then use the “Universal Reservation Form for Council-Owned Camp Properties” form.
