Each of the four Council Areas have one GSSEF property reserved exclusively for its use, one weekend per month, during the months of September – May (annually). The months of June – August are excluded (annually). The GSSEF properties are Camp Nocatee, Camp Telogia, Camp Welaka, and the Oakland Park Service Center. GSSEF properties will be “allocated” (e.g. reserved) for Areas 1, 2, 3, and 4 on a fixed schedule that will repeat each month. This provides all volunteers predictable dates for planning, time for informing girls and recruiting volunteers, as well as ease of scheduling for everyone.
