Favorite Song/Musician: Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. My Dad introduced me to this band and even though they are old, they are my favorite right now.

Why did you join Girl Scouts?
To make new friends and do fun things.

What do you like best about Girl Scouts?
Learning new things and the chance to make a difference in the world, like when my troop did a park clean up and collected trash left by other people. That made me feel really good.

What is your favorite Girl Scout story?
My grandma told me a story of when she was a Girl Scout and one of her friends had a hole in her heart and was not able to do a lot of the physical things they did in Girl Scouts. But when they were earning a photography badge, the same little girl was the best photographer in the troop. This story proved to me that we all have different things we are good at and in Girl Scouts, there is a place for everyone.

Why should others join Girl Scouts?
Because it does not matter who you are or what your interests are because Girl Scouts has something to offer everyone.

What is something about you that may “defy” the stereotypical Girl Scout?
I don’t believe there is a stereotype for Girl Scouts. We come in all shapes, sizes, colors and from many different backgrounds and religions. Girl Scouts welcomes and accepts everyone. Our differences make us more interesting, but the one thing we have in common is the desire to be the best people we can be and to make positive changes in the world.

If you could change something about the world, what would it be?
That’s easy. I would put an end to Global Warming.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A photographer or marine biologist. I really love science and sea life and I am having a lot of fun taking pictures right now.
