The “Get Real” Mentoring program is now in its 5th year!

This year we are helping middle school, at-risk girls at Arthur Ashe Middle, Charles Drew Family Resource Center, Eagle Charter Academy, Lauderdale Lakes Middle and Smart School Charter. We anticipate helping approximately 200 girls this year, with the help of 10 mentors. Want to have a positive impact on the life of a child? Become a mentor for the Girl Scouts! We provide the training, all the supplies, and a Girl Scout staff member at each session – you provide an open ear, a big heart, and a willingness to become friends with a middle school girl who needs your advice and support. We ask that you commit to a minimum of (2) one hour sessions a month, for the 9 month school year.
