Come meet your fellow volunteers, share skills and knowledge, and find out how our Adult Learning courses and workshops can enhance your Girl Scout Volunteer experience!
Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida has a commitment to its volunteers to provide an ongoing Adult Learning Program. We have volunteer positions available that deal directly and indirectly with supporting girls: special event committees, administrative support to local volunteers,troop leadership team positions, and more. Our Council’s Adult Learning courses are tailored to meet the needs of your specific volunteer position.
All Girl Scout volunteers:
- Must complete the Online Volunteer Orientation to Girl Scouts.
- This course provides an overview and history of the Girl Scout organization, Girl Scout pathways (various ways that girl and adult members participate),volunteer resources, and an overview of the Girl Scout program for girls. Please refer to the Training Programs section of this page.
Volunteers who will be directly supporting girls:
- Troop leaders and co-leaders must also complete Leadership Essentials. This workshop includes an overview of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and the skills that are needed to effectively partner with your girls. Please refer to the Training Programs section of this page.

Registration
• Please complete the Adult Learning Registration Form.
•Registering early decreases the risk of finding the training full or canceled due to low enrollment.
•Mail, fax, or deliver your completed registration form to Quettia Isoff in the Jupiter Service Center with full payment,if required, a minimum of 14 days before the date of the course or by the closing date. Any questions related to the registration process, please email qisoff@gssef.org or contact her by phone 561-427 – 0259.

•Courses are confirmed or cancelled after the Closing date.
Training courses may be cancelled if there are insufficient registrations.
General Information
•Please bring a notebook or pad and a pen with you to class. Also, you will be advised if you will need to purchase any materials for class.
•Babysitting is NOT provided during training sessions or events. Please make arrangements for childcare while you are attending training courses.
