Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Elect New Board of Directors
Jupiter, FL, June 10, 2010 – At the annual meeting held on April 24, 2010, the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida elected their board of directors for the 2010-2011 year. Henrietta Gurri McBee, board chair, presided over the election.
Elected to serve a two year term as member-at-large were Jennifer Chiarenza, Lee Feinberg, Tina Hatcher, Christopher Herron, Catherine Lambert, Pamela (PJ) Layng, Harriet Mack, Lillian Ocasio and Maria Ferrante Wilson. Janet Beets was elected to a one year term, along with student representatives Shaina F. and Katerina M..
Officers returning to complete their two year term are Henrietta Gurri McBee, chair, Lisa Tighe, first vice chair, Aimee Cernicharo, second vice chair, Dr. Brenda LaVar, secretary and Lorna Brown-Burton as treasurer. Members at large returning for a second year are Andrea Levenson, Ashley Foster Pinnock and Virginia Spencer.
