Earth Hour and Girl Scouts Team Up to Honor the Planet
NEW YORK – March 2, 2011 – Earth Hour and Girls Scouts of the USA today announce a collaboration to increase environmental education, awareness and action. This collaboration is part of the Earth Hour global campaign, launched today in Singapore, that marks the beginning of a new phase for Earth Hour to “go beyond the hour” – encouraging people to capture, share and inspire environmental conversation and action year-round.
