A Special Note: GSSEF’s first annual GSSEF 2009 Gold Award Ceremony in May will follow the Annual Meeting at 11:30AM. Please note new venue for Annual Meeting -PLEASE NOTE THE NEW BUILDING AND ROOM .

Please join us for the first Annual meeting of our new Council – Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida! On May 2, 2009, council delegates, board members , volunteers, and girl members will gather to participate in the governance process that guides the direction we travel as a Council.

Our Annual Meeting is a wonderful opportunity for members to meet the Board of Directors, hear the State of the Council address by the Board Chair and CEO, participate in the Girl Scout democratic process, and interact with other Girl Scouts from across our jurisdiction.

The Annual Meeting will be held from 9AM to 10:30AM

Plan to attend this special meeting, where you will:

•Learn about the progress of GSSEF over the past year.
•Meet your Board members.
•Hear updates on Council activities.
•Exchange ideas and get to know leaders and girls from different areas of our jurisdiction.
•Elect a new slate of board members if you are a delegate.

The Business Meeting will be facilitated by Board Chair Henrietta McBee. More details to follow in the near future.
