Chase Community Giving:How Facebook Users can show Support for GSSEF
Here is an opportunity for Facebook users to show support for Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida by voting for our Council to become one of the 100 finalists in receiving a donation from a Chase Philanthropic Fund. Chase is giving away $5 million to various eligible charities.
Chase and Facebook have joined together to present a program called Chase Community Giving:You Decide What Matters and are giving facebook users the opportunity to vote and decide which local charities and non-profits they want to receive millions of dollars of donations from a Chase corporate philanthropic fund.
Voting deadline for Round one is December 11, 2009. To learn more about Chase Community Giving program or to vote, Click http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/ and enter Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida,Inc.
Eligible organizations in the following focus areas: education, healthcare, housing, the environment, combating hunger, arts and culture, human services, and animal welfare.
The eligible charity/non-profit receiving the most votes will be awarded $1 million, the top five runners-up will receive $100,000 each and the 100 finalists, including the top winners, will be awarded $25,000 each.
