This week we are re-launching Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida’s facebook page. Our facebook page provides an additional way for our Council’s members to engage and communicate with each other. We will be sharing announcements , updates, events and more on the page.
Please join us on facebook as a fan and become part of our online community. And please suggest our page to your friends too. There are age requirements for joining facebook – you must be 13 years of age and follow the Girl Scouts of USA internet and social networking standards. Please refer to these standards/guidelines which are listed on this page. - Any Girl Scout use of a social networking site (such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace) for communication must:
- Have parental permission.
- Meet age limits set by the provider, which is 13 and above in most cases, as per the United States Child Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA) and the Child Online Protection Act(COPA).
