THIS IS IT! The sixth and final Gold Award Workshop of 2009 is now scheduled for Saturday, November 7 from 1 – 3 PM at the Oakland Park Service Center (4701 NW 33rd Avenue, Oakland Park, FL 33309). Girls must be age 14 or older to attend this workshop, as a prerequisite for earning the Gold Award.

The Gold Award Workshop is FREE but registration is required so that we have the room set-up properly and sufficient printed materials for everyone in attendance. Call or email Demi Clemmons at 561-427-0181 to register or dclemmons@gssef.org

Join us for a the GSSEF Gold Award Workshop, in order to:

•Understand why The Gold Award is so important and such an advantage for a girl’s future
•Learn what it takes to complete The Gold Award project – and what makes a GREAT Gold Award project
•Get the step-by-step timelines, GSSEF Council guidelines and prerequisites fully explained
•Start thinking about how a true passion can become a impactful “Take Action” project
•Hear first-hand what 1% of girls in Girl Scouting did with their project to get BIG scholarships
•Meet Council Gold Award Advisors
•Meet the Council Staff who work with girls and our Gold Award Advisors
•Ask every question you have!
Again, we invite girls ages 14 and older (with her family, Troop Leader, friends, or on her own) to attend and learn more all the “WHY” The Gold Award is important, exciting and a key to her future plans and “HOW” to do it!
