August 14, 2009 — Palm Beach Ford Dealers presented a check for $1991 to the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida for providing volunteers at the popular “Make Your Own Music Video” booth during this year’s Sunfest. More than 45 volunteers, including Girl Scouts, leaders and parents worked in shifts over the 5-day festival. Palm Beach Ford Dealers include Al Packer Ford and Al Packer Ford West, Maroone Ford of Delray, Mullinax Ford and Wayne Akers Ford.

All proceeds from the video booth will go directly to the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida and will help support educational programs to the more than 18,000 girls ages 5-17 in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties. Through programs that are girl-driven and by working in partnership with adults, Girl Scouts learn the importance of personal responsibility, the value of goal-setting, the spirit of teamwork and the thrill of accomplishment.
