Cadette Girl Scouts (Grades 6-8)

Has your daughter entered middle school and joining in more social activities, community service, become more fashion conscious or trying to “fit in” at her new school? Then Girl Scouts is the place for her to be! As a Cadette Girl Scout she will engage in activities like these that explore relationships with others while learning to appreciate the differences that make her unique:

Assist with a Brownie troop on their Quest.

Participate in an environmental clean-up day.

Learn about fashion design or jewelry making.

aMAZE: The Twists and Turns of Getting Along

Life is a maze of relationships and this journey has Girl Scout Cadettes maneuvering through all its twists and turns to find true friendships, plenty of confidence, and maybe even peace. The adult guide offers tips for talking about relationship issues with girls, and pointers for understanding Cadettes’ development and creating a safe, welcoming space.
