Alcohol Literacy with The Hanley Foundation (Go Girls Series)
Calling all Seniors and Ambassadors! Join GSSEF for our Go Girls Independence Series to arm yourself with the tools to launch you into young adulthood. A variety of topics will be explored in monthly workshops to empower you as you graduate high-school and start your next chapter in life!
Join us on Saturday, March 13th for our fifth workshop in the series: Alcohol Literacy. The Hanley Foundation will be hosting this workshop to teach girls about alcohol abuse prevention, the effects of alcohol use, and the efforts by alcohol companies to portray positive expectancies in advertisements and tools you can use to rise above.
Our remaining virtual workshops in the series are as follows:
· April 17 – Life After High School with LJR Training & Coaching
· May 1 – Public Speaking with USOA Miss Florida 2021 Alexandria Van Dyke
All of the workshops will be held on Zoom. Registration for each program is $8 for GSSEF girls and $10 for out of council girls. It’s not too late to register for your first workshop as girls who attend at least two Go Girls events will receive the exclusive Go Girls patch via USPS (included in the program cost).
