We welcome any Seniors or Ambassadors who are considering how they
can earn The Gold Award and who want to learn more. The Gold Award
Workshop is a GSSEF Council requirement for Seniors and Ambassadors
who intend to earn The Gold Award. This workshop provides a very
comprehensive overview and includes information about:
Award eligibility, prerequisites, and guidelines - who can apply
GSUSA proposal form and web-based submission platform - how it works
Project proposal rubric - how to get approval for your project
Final reporting requirements - what's needed in order to finish
Role of the Gold Award Advisor - who's this
Timelines/deadlines
Money-earning/donation requests
This is an in-person, interactive workshop; girls are encouraged to
bring questions and supplies for capturing notes. Uniforms are NOT
required. Food is prohibited; beverages will lids are permitted.
Service animals with printed documentation are welcome.
The workshop will begin at the designated start time; late-comers or
early-departures will not receive credit for attendance and be
required to repeat the course.
Workshop materials will be distributed at the workshop. While family
members and troop volunteers are welcome to accompany their girls,
HOWEVER space is limited and adults are required to register and pay
to attend the workshop. A confirmation email will be provided to the
adult registrant 2-3 days prior to the workshop date.

- This Program will take place near Davie, Fl.
- The
exact address can be found in your MYGS after completing your
registration for this program. It will also be included in the
confirmation letter.
Adult Supervision:
- This is NOT a drop off event! Girls must be supervised by a
troop leader or registered adult volunteers.
- Tagalongs are
NOT permitted for this event.

Program Confirmation:
- Once you have registered you can find the program
information by logging into your MYGS account, going to My Events
and selecting the event. There you will be able to find the exact
location. A confirmation email will be sent out prior to the
scheduled program with all the necessary information. If you
register after this time, you will need to contact customer care for
information.
Program Funding:
- Our programs are made possible with funding from grants. To
help justify this funding, we have been asked to have participants
complete a pre/post survey relating to this program. We thank you
for your cooperation in helping to provide our Girl Scouts with
amazing programs.
