Program Description:
We are kicking off the first quarter of our Stem in a Box Kits by becoming 'makers'! Join us as we explore a host of activities that allow our younger Girl Scouts to get a step closer to earning their Craft & Tinker Badges!
This STEM in a Box contains activities suitable for all Girl Scout levels. Although it is not a fully badge earning box; it helps Daisies, Brownies and Juniors meet components 1 and 2 of the Craft and Tinker Badge.
At Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, we know how important it is for Girl Scouts to be exposed to STEM programing as well as being able to access special equipment needed to participate in a variety of STEM activities. Our hope, with the creation of these kits, is that we will be able to provide you and your troop with the guidance, as well as the materials, to successfully complete dive deeper into different STEM topics and complete fun activities! Each STEM in a Box contains everything an individual Girl Scout or troop (up to 10 girls) will need to complete the monthly activity.
Program Fee:
$40 per box
This fee includes the shipping of each box.

Staple supplies: Markers, Pencils, Scissors, etc.

General Location:
This Program is an at home program.
Feel free to utilize this box at your next troop meeting or gathering.
Adult Supervision:
Adult Supervision is required as Girl Scouts work to complete the included activities.

Disclaimer:
Each box will meet the needs of up to 10 Girl Scouts. If you have more than 10 Girl Scouts or have a multi-level troop, you will need to purchase multiple boxes.
Boxes will be shipped out on a rolling basis.
Program Confirmation:
Once you have registered you can find the program information by logging into your MYGS account, going to My Events and selecting the event. There you will be able to find the exact location. A confirmation email will be sent out prior to the scheduled program with all the necessary information. If you register after this time, you will need to contact customer care for information.
Financial Aid:
Financial Assistance is available to Girl Scouts that have a current membership with GSSEF.
Program Funding:
Our programs are made possible with funding from grants. To help justify this funding, we have been asked to have participants complete a pre/post survey relating to this program. We thank you for your cooperation in helping to provide our Girl Scouts with amazing programs.
