Need your required volunteer training? Want to learn about how to organize your troop for the year? Yearn to learn songs and ceremonies you can teach your girls? Have no clue what a SWAP is? Fear not, fearless leader! Training for all of this and more is available. Classes are offered evenings and weekends at convenient locations near you.
Check out our online calendar for our current offerings. For your convenience, online registration for classes is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Important – Please Read: The e-Council database is fully compatible with Internet Explorer 10. Be sure the internet platform you are using to access e-Council for roster updates, Early Bird re-registration, program and adult learning registration is Internet Explorer 10 (or a lower version). Using Chrome, Safari or Firefox will not allow full functionality of the database.
Volunteer Essentials – Orientation training is a required for all new leaders and must be taken within 60 days. By taking this first step in your leadership experience you will gain essential knowledge of the policies and procedures of Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida. Know the do’s and don’ts of GSSEF!
Troop Essentials – Grade-level training is required for new Girl Scout leaders and must be taken within 60 days of your appointment. Grade-level training offers grade-level specific information on how to set-up your troop – from deciding when, where and how often to meet and how to’s on managing troop finances, to working with parents and planning engaging troop activities.This class will inform and inspire you in your new role as a Troop Leader.
Enrichment Classes – These classes are offered to enhance your experience and add to your leadership “toolbox.” Be sure to check out classes that will prepare you to lead the girls in a new skill like camping, canoeing or archery. These classes are offered throughout the year. Check out our online calendar for our current offerings.

- Classes are color coded: Green, means registration is open; Red means registration is closed; Black means the class is full, but a waiting list has formed.
- Click on the class name and location for a detailed description of the class and exact address.
- This screen will also allow you to enter your information and register for the class.
- Once registered, you will receive a confirmation.
