The CareerSpark! virtual series provides Girl Scouts the opportunity for career exploration across a variety of industries with a new speaker each quarter. They will hear from individuals across different careers and learn about topics including: what it's like to work in the field, the requirements, and the status of women within the field.
Each quarter a new CareerSpark! program
will be available for Girl Scouts to explore. The cost of the program
is $10.00 for in-council members and $12.00 for out-of-council
members. The price includes a live experience and CareerSpark!
patch.
This program is provided in partnership with Palm Beach County Youth Services Department. To find out about the upcoming CareerSpark! virtual events, search our Event Listings >>
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Series is focused on educating Girl Scouts about history and topics surrounding communities and identity groups that they may or may not belong to. This will lead them to greater understanding of these communities and their cultures, how our differences should be celebrated, their own identity, and how they can educate others.
While patches are designed for specific celebratory dates/months, Girl Scouts can complete them any time of year, individually or with their troop! All patches can be purchased through the GSSEF retail store.
