The biggest Girl Scout adventures are still ahead.

Whether you have a girl in Girl Scouts or are a dedicated volunteer, so much has been accomplished, discovered, and explored over the past year. And there’s even more ahead—more opportunities to try new things and to remain part of something truly special, supportive, and inspiring year after year.

The Girl Scout membership year runs from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027. Annual membership dues are $65 for girl members and $30 for adult members. Additional local feels fees and discounts may apply. Financial aid may be available. Girl Scout memberships must be renewed annually.

For Families: How to Renew Yourself or Your Family toggle arrow

Log into MyGS. You’ll need the email address and password you used to sign up for Girl Scouts. If you need help accessing your account, reach out—we’re happy to help!
Returning to the same troop and/or volunteer role?
- Once you’ve logged into your account, click the “Renew Now” button to renew all members of your household.
- Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details” button .
- Enter your credit card information for payment and submit. Note: Some Girl Scout councils offer financial assistance or allow Girl Scouts to renew their membership with program credits. Connect with your  local Girl Scout council to learn more.
- You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).
Not returning to the same troop or volunteer role?
- Click/tap on “My Household” in the left hand menu. 
- Check the “Select All” boxes or indicate the girls and adults in your household who you’d like to renew.
- Check the “Not Returning” box next to the troops or roles you’re not continuing with this year.
- You can continue to renew without choosing a new troop. Contact us to connect with a new opportunity in your area.
- Click “Add Renewal.”
- Confirm that the details for your household members are correct. Then, choose the membership year and select your desired payment type.
- Some Girl Scout councils offer financial assistance or allow Girl Scouts to renew their membership with program credits. Connect with your  local Girl Scout council to learn more.
- Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details” button .
- Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
- You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).

For Troop Leaders: How to Renew Your Troop toggle arrow

Once you’ve logged into your account, click the “Renew Now” button to renew all members of your troop.
Review your cart and make any adjustments needed, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details button.
Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your troop renewal(s).

GSSEF has eliminated the $15 Council Service Fee for the 2026-27 membership year! After two consecutive national dues increases, GSSEF is proud to make it easier than ever to join, renew, and say YES to Girl Scouts.

In the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Sale, 2,860 girls sold 100+ cookie boxes, earning FREE MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL, and 95 graduating seniors sold 100+ cookie boxes, earning FREE LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP!

If your Girl Scout earned free membership through the Cookie Program, DO NOT RENEW HER. GSSEF will process these renewals automatically, and girls will receive the t-shirt and patch. You DO need to RENEW ADULT MEMBERS of the troop between April 1-7 for them to receive a t-shirt and patch. All renewed members will get an email later this spring to submit their t-shirt size.

Can I order extras?
- No, this t‑shirt is ONLY available to renewing Girl Scout members. It is not sold in stores and cannot be purchased. A truly limited‑edition way to celebrate spring and a new year of Girl Scout adventures!
What sizing is available?
- Unisex t-shirt in youth (S-XL) and adult (S-4X) sizes.
Can I make it my own?
- Yes! We hope you do! Sprout serious style by adding your troop number!
Where do I submit my size?
- An email will pop up like a spring flower later this season with size‑submission instructions.
When will I receive my t-shirt and patch?
- Distribution begins in August, with several opportunities and locations to hop by and pick up your t-shirt and patch.

Why isn’t my username working?
Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact our Customer Care team.

Why am I not receiving the password reset emails?
The password reset emails come from [email protected], so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact our Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
Our Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account. Contact us to get started.

Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
There are a couple reasons this could happen:

Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact our Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.

You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact our Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
There are several reasons this could happen:

Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Contact us to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.

If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.
