There are no specific activities or timeline for your Girl Scouts Love State Parks adventure. You can explore the park for an hour or the whole day to earn the Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch.

What to bring: a refillable water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, hat/sunglasses, packed lunch, and snacks.

What to wear: Weather appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes with socks for all participants.

Patches: Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2025 patches will be mailed out to registered participants after the event weekend, September 13-14, 2025.

Registration will close on 9/10/2025.

A little background about Girl Scouts Love State Parks program:

Every year, Girl Scouts explore the natural wonders found across our country during the Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend. Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida has provided you with different ways to participate and enjoy the Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend.

You can choose how to explore our local state parks:

You can join the park rangers for an in-person, planned event at one of four different State Parks in our council area: Jonathan Dickinson State Park, John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park or Von D. Mizell Eula Johnson State Park on September 13 or 14, 2025. (Use separate registration pages for desired program.)

Or you can also participate by choosing the self-guided option where you will use the materials provided in the program activity guide developed by GSSEF to get outdoors in a State Park close to you at a time convenient to your troop or family.

No matter which path you choose, the most important thing is to explore the State Parks, enjoy nature, and enjoy time with your family or fellow Girl Scouts!

***PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REGISTER FOR THE OPTION YOU WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE IN***
