Our in-person Girl Scouts Love State Parks program at Von D
Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park will include:
Service
Project: Do a beach cleanup & identify the types of debris
found.
Activities with short descriptions:
Talk on Marine Sea Turtle program at the park; Junior Ranger
enrollment (if desired); and have an art project using items found in
the park.
LUNCH on your own
Parking
Instructions: Parking in lot 2 - follow the sidewalk from the
Southeast corner of lot 2 to the pavilion.
Meetup
location: Manatee pavilion (located next to the park concession)
What to bring: Beverages and or water bottle, insect spray,
sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, good footwear, lunch and or snacks.
Keep an eye out for the weather conditions (re: rainy, windy,
and or thundery) and address them as needed. If you have any special
needs, please let us know.
