In this hands-on workshop, artists will step into the role of fashion
designer as they create original looks for miniature model figures.
Using felt, fabric, trims, and mixed materials, they'll sketch their
ideas and then create fashion looks with texture, color, and creative
details. This class focuses on design thinking, styling, and
craftsmanship while giving teens
the freedom to express their
unique fashion vision. Some sewing supplies and hot glue guns will be
used.
Due to the size of the art studio, registered
adults will serve as supervision for the Girl Scouts attending the
program. Additional adults can explore the plaza during the program
after dropping off and then return at 2:30 to pick up their Girl
Scout.
