This course is a blended format where the knowledge portion is
achieved through an online course which is then followed up by an
in-person practical learning session. You must complete the online
portion and send your completion certificate to the instructor BEFORE
attending the practical on April 19, 2026 at Camp Welaka.
You will receive an email from GSSEF with a code to access the online
course through US Archery's website by April 1, 2026 to provide time
for you to complete the online course. On April 19th, the practical
portion of the training will be conducted at Camp Welaka from 10:00 AM
until 3:00 PM.
Participants need to bring a refillable
water bottle, a packed lunch, and snacks. Closed-toe, closed-heel
shoes like sneakers or boots are required for all participants. Please
dress with the weather in mind. Don't forget the bug spray and
sunscreen. This is a rain or shine event.
Archery
certification is an adult-only training and tagalongs are not
permitted.
