We are looking for enthusiastic Cadettes, Seniors, and
Ambassadors that are interested in building leadership skills
by assisting at Girl Experience programs. The Girl Program
Squad (GPS) will plan and facilitate activities at girl
programs like Mall Madness, STEMapalooza, Art Fest and more
throughout the Girl Scout year! In addition to valuable experience,
Girl Scouts can earn service hours that can be used toward the Service
to Girl Scouting bar and Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
The Girl Program Squad Kickoff Meeting will be held at GSSEF HQ
on January 7, 2023. We will discuss expectations and
guidelines, take suggestions for upcoming programs, and work on
teambuilding!
Can't make the Kickoff meeting?!
No problem. A virtual recording will be sent to those girls
who are interested in joining the Girl Program Squad but unable to
make it to the kickoff meeting.
Registration fee includes:
- Light refreshments
- GPS Navigation Guide
- Exclusive GPS patch (to be distributed at a later date)
Only
Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts may
attend, and this is a drop-off event. Adult supervision
requirements will be met with GSSEF staff at the meeting. Confirmation
and meeting details will be sent out Thursday, January 5.
