The Gold Award Workshop is a GSSEF Council requirement for Seniors and Ambassadors who intend to earn The Gold Award. We also warmly welcome any Seniors or Ambassadors who are still considering it - and want to learn more.
This is a comprehensive overview of the entire process and includes information about:
- Award eligibility, prerequisites, and guidelines
- GSUSA proposal form and web-based submission platform
- Project proposal rubric
- Project idea exploration
- Final reporting requirements
- Role of the Gold Award Advisor
- Timelines/deadlines
- Money-earning/donation requests
This is an in-person, interactive workshop at the Rick Case Honda dealership in Davie/Weston.
Girls are encouraged to bring questions and supplies for capturing notes. Uniforms are NOT required.
The workshop will begin at the designated start time; latecomers or early departures will not receive credit for attendance and be required to repeat the course. Workshop materials will be distributed at the workshop.
Adults, family members, and/or troop volunteers are welcome to accompany their girls; adults must register and pay to attend the workshop.
