Nu2u is our council-led troop camping opportunity for troops and
individuals that want to try out camping at beautiful Camp Welaka.
Registered adult participants cover the supervision for the Girl
Scouts in the group and Outdoor Crew volunteers take care of the rest.
This overnight is jam packed with camp fun like campfire songs,
swimming, canoeing, crafts, and archery, but that's not all, meals are
also included from Saturday lunch through Sunday breakfast as well as
snacks.
Girl Scouts will complete components from the
Camper and Eco badges for their age level during this program. Badges
not included in the program fee.

A packing list will be sent out the week of the program with everything you need and other important details in the program confirmation.

Closed toe shoes and socks must be worn at all times at camp. Shirts must also cover the shoulders and midriff. These rules apply to all participants.

This is a rain or shine event so please dress with the weather in mind.

Please note, this is not a drop-off event and Girl Scout/adult ratio is required.

The exact address can be found in your MYGS after completing your registration for this program. It will also be included in the confirmation letter.
Adult Supervision:

This is NOT a drop off event! Girls must be supervised by a troop leader or registered adult volunteers.

Once you have registered you can find the program information by logging into your MYGS account, going to My Events and selecting the event. There you will be able to find the exact location. A confirmation email will be sent out prior to the scheduled program with all the necessary information. If you register after this time, you will need to contact customer care for information.
Financial Aid:

Financial Assistance is available to Girl Scouts that have a current membership with GSSEF.

Each Girl Scout is allotted a total of $30 for each membership year (October 1 - September 30)

Requesting Financial Aid does not guarantee registration for a program.

Our programs are made possible with funding from grants. To help justify this funding, we have been asked to have participants complete a pre/post survey relating to this program. We thank you for your cooperation in helping to provide our Girl Scouts with amazing programs.
