Girls will kick off the day with a hands-on beach cleanup. After the cleanup, they will have time to explore the Marine Environmental Education Center and its interactive exhibits. To finish the day, the MEEC team will host a special Sea Turtle feeding for their resident turtles, Captain and Cane.
Spots are limited for this special program - please be courteous when registering adults to allow for the most girl participation possible.
What to wear: weather-appropriate clothing
What to bring: Refillable water bottle, snacks and lunch if you plan to hang out after the program at the center or the beach.
Please submit your Earth Defenders Final Report after the program to receive your Earth Defenders patch. Patches will be mailed in November.
Registration will close on October 11th, or when the program reaches capacity.
