Join us for a fantastic ocean adventure! On this Peanut Island Field Excursion with the Reef Institute, you will take a trip exploring coral from the perspective of a coral biologist. A ferry ride to the island sets the stage for this exciting learning opportunity. We'll snorkel, identify fish and coral, and dive into many other topics. Of course, we'll plan around tides to provide the best snorkeling experience possible.
The Reef Institute will provide all equipment necessary for the snorkeling adventure.
The fee for the ferry ride is included in the registration fee.
Participants must be proficient swimmers.
What to bring: change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, filled water bottle, and a packed lunch and snacks.
What to wear: bathing suit with clothes over top.
