Have you ever thought about sending your girl to summer camp, but you weren’t sure if your girl is ready for the full experience on her own? Camp 2gether is a unique opportunity for your camper and a trusted adult to experience Overnight Camp together!

Come out and enjoy three days and two nights of the summer camp experience with your Girl Scout! Girl Scouts can attend with a guardian of their choice to see what Overnight Camp is all about, as they spend the night at camp, as well as try out fun camp activities and traditions.

What to Expect at Camp 2gether toggle arrow

Our campers spend their days enjoying exciting activities, including making new friends, exploring the great outdoors, and enjoying classic camp activities, including archery/slingshots, canoeing & paddle-boarding, hiking, crafts, pool time, and more. The program fee includes all meals and snacks during the session, and camp activities.

Participants will be placed in units with other campers for the camp experience and to build outdoor skills as well as friendships among both campers and guardians.

Located on a portion of Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Tequesta, Florida—Camp Welaka occupies 640 acres, including a swimming pool, lake, and river access. Facilities are provided for daytime and troop or group camping for all Girl Scout grade levels. A full-time camp ranger lives on-site.

Camp Welaka facilities include the lodge - an activity and dining center equipped with a commercial kitchen (only a certified food manager may use the commercial kitchen). There are two platform tent sites with eight tents, each sleeping four. An additional platform tent site has four tents each sleeping four. Cabins are available at two sites, one with six cabins each sleeping four, and another with eight cabins. Also, a Cook’s Cabin that sleeps 8 individuals is available. A Unit House is located at each site for eating and activities. An ADA-accessible Bunk House may also be reserved. There is also a Director’s Cabin and an Infirmary.

Camper Experience

Valuables: GSSEF will not be responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any valuables sent with your camper to camp. Please consider keeping all valuables like jewelry, electronics, etc., at home for the time your camper will be at camp.
Electronics at camp: Electronics like cell phones, tablets, and smart watches are discouraged at Camp 2gether this summer. We believe it is an important part of camp to unplug and connect with the outdoors as well as the other campers and camp staff for the duration of their experience. We recommend participants bring a digital or disposable camera, personal music player, or electronic reader without cellular service.
Buddies: Having a familiar face or friend at camp can help enrich the experience. Please make sure to identify any camp buddies that you know are attending your session during the registration process. We do encourage making new friends, and our cabins/tents only allow four occupants so we can only guarantee one buddy per camper. We will try to group buddies together as much as possible.

Registration

Payment: At registration, you will pay a nonrefundable deposit. This secures your spots at camp. Balances can then be paid through your MyGS account as a whole or spaced out. All balances must be paid in full before your session. You will not be permitted to check in for their session if their balance has not been paid in full.
Cancellation Policy: The cancellation deadline for Camp 2gether 2026 is May 23, 2026, to receive a refund. If not canceled before May 23, 2026, you will be responsible for paying the full balance even if you do not attend the camp session.
