Not only do we offer yearly signature events, council-wide community service projects, and exciting partner programs, but now GSSEF has monthly program series for girls to participate in! These series are unique and ever-changing as new opportunitites present themselves. Not only can girls pick and choose which programs to participate in, they can earn exclusive program patches, too!

Join GSSEF for a monthly virtual program series helping Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts own their futures!

Are you about to step out on your own, whether its at college or entering the work-force full time, but unsure how to navigate the 'real-world'? Participate in our Go Girls Independence Series to arm yourself with the tools to launch you into young adulthood.

  • October 10: Self Defense Class with Gold Award Girl Scout Ashley Klement.
  • November 14: Budgeting and Building Good Credit with TD Bank. 
  • December 12: Managing Time and Stress with Ashley LeDuc.
  • February 27: Understanding Taxes with Hispanic Unity of Florida.
  • March 13: Alcohol Literacy with Hanley Foundation.
  • April 17: Life After High School with LJR Training & Coaching.

CAREER SPARKS activities icon

The CareerSpark! series provides girls the opportunity for career exploration across a variety of industries with a new speaker one Sunday each month! They get to hear from individuals from top career fields and learn about topics such as; what it is like to work in the field (mission, goals, duties, responsibilities, etc.), the requirements to work in the field (education, skills, experience, etc.), and the status of women within the field.

  • August 9: Conversation with a Physical Therapist: Dr. Lindsey Bragg from Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital
  • September 21: Conversation with a Civil Engineer: Kriss McKirdy, P.E. from the Florida Department of Transportation
  • October 25: Conversation with a Dentist: Kelly Hart, DMD from Hart to Hart Dental. 
  • November 15: Conversation with an Actress: Audrey Belle Adams, a New York City-based actress who hails from Louisville, KY. 
  • December 13: Conversation with a Project Manager: Joane D. Celestin, a Senior Project Manager and serial entrepreneur.
  • February 28: Conversation with a Clinical Pharmacist: Dr. Tori-Lynn Saraniti.
