Let's celebrate, create and learn together! Join us at the GSSEF Palm
Beach retail store for a colorful Hispanic Heritage Month celebration
where girls will discover the meaning of the month, learn about its
history, and explore the traditions that make Hispanic culture so
vibrant and special.
We'll explore the importance of
heritage, community, and cultural pride through an age appropriate
discussion designed to inspire curiosity and appreciation.
Then it's time to get creative! Girls will design and make
their own papel picado banners --bright, festive paper art
traditionally used in celebrations. With scissors, color and
imagination, each girl will create a unique decoration to take home
and display.
The first 10 girls to register will receive
a FREE Hispanic Heritage Month council's own patch! This patch is
included in a DEI program created by the GSSEF council. Check out the
other patches included in this program here https://www.gssef.org/en/Activities/events-and-programs/program-series.html
